i hope marquez just stays a free agent and makes a fight with pacquiao by any means necessary. marquez is gonna get the same amout of money fighting pacquiao regardless. although i heavily favor pacquiao at 140 and up. **** marquez truly is the beethoven of boxing and one of the modern day legends still basically in their fighting prime, but PACSMASH has a destiny to fulfill.

Every boxer today would like to be in the Manny Pacquiao lottery. Just imagine joining the best fighter in the planet in the ring not mentioning the millions of dollars to be earned. The problem with Juan Manuel Marquez is he does not have the support of his fellow Mexicans. The only chance for him to sell tickets is if he will be fighting well known fighters. Even when he fought Mayweather they did not do good in sales...HBO has to do some hokus pokus and some funny stories to make people believe that they sold a lot of PPV.

didn't he already beat pacquiao twice? fighting pac for the third makes no sense when you already beat him twice, right?...marquez should fight khan or ortiz or garcia or rios and retire...it's obvious he is only after his retirement check courtesy of pacquiao...

At this point, it really doesnt matter what Marquez wants. Arum recently announced he isn't interested in pursuing the trilogy. If Arum was reluctant to negotiate the fight before, he's likely even more reluctant after the Juanma-Salido debacle.

This is typical JMM M.O. If his life's goal is a Pacquiao fight, all he has to do is wait until May 8th to make it happen. Remain a free agent, and he'll get a deal done faster than Shane did. He knows signing a GBP contract will make it difficult to get his 'goal', so he knows what he has to do, right?
