I hate to say it but what a ****** statement from Manny. Manny, Floyd is older than you!

He means that Floyd is waiting for Manny to age some more and slow down and become less active, less offensive.......just as Floyd has done with age.

I absolutely love when Pac or Floyd say something and these forums fill up. Im a fan of both fighters, so I say this with no emotional connection to either fighter. LMAO @ Pac fans when there slapped with facts and they start attacking Floyds personal life as if it proves something. If we go through everything that has occurred between the two camps, although it would seem that both camps have lied, it is plainly obvious that Pac's camp comes off as the ones who are hiding something. Aside from the most recent episode where Floyd's camp is claiming there were never any negotiations, all the spin has been coming out of Pac's camp!!! All Floyd did was request Olympic style drug testing, then the **** hit the fan. Arum and Pac's camp went into a crazy PR spin and all this added stuff when it was a simple request of DRUG TESTING. Now the response is Floyd doesnt rule boxing, he doesn't make the rules, BLAH BLAH BLAH. The fight could have happened but the PR spin was more important. If Pac had done the testing and lost to Floyd then there goes the millions of dollars he would potentially make fighting Cotto, Clottey, Cheatto, now Mosley, and Probably two More fights before he actually fights Floyd.

Now the spin of hes waiting untill Im old. All you guys can say what you want, but an active fighter will always maintain more of his skills then an in active fighter. Wars account for nothing but how your skin reacts to punches and how easily you bruise. Reflexes, response, ability stays sharp because the constant use and training. DLH and Mosely are very good examples of this.DLH was only fighting once a year and even took almost a two year lay off at one point, did not seem at all as good as he once was.While Mosely remaining active seems to be slowing down but still maintains the ability to compete at a high level. DLH is two years younger then Mosley and had 45 fights to Mosley's 53 and counting. To say that a fighter who has been inactive for years (and it will be years by the time they fight) has more of a chance to win then an active fighter is wrong especially if the active fighter has only fought one sided fights for the last couple of years.

Also very important to point out that when Martinez was pursuing a fight against Pac, He and the public were informed that Pac will fight the rest of his career at 147. But now it would seem since Pac is already engaged in a bout he suddenly wants to move up in weight, lol. Could it be that Roach realized a weakness in Martinez coupled with his willingness to weight drain himself, now they wanna go for it,lol. We all who watch boxing know that Roach, and arum do not let Pac fight anybody they think he might lose to unless their absolutely sure he could win. we'll see
