Maybe after Pac beats Mosley he can challenge Ortiz. His win over Berto was dramatic wasn't it? Wait......then he would be fighting a smaller guy...shoot...darn.

Maybe he could challenge Martinez at a catchweight of 150 after his dramatic win over Dzinziruk...wait, then he would be using catchweights again.

Remember though...whoever either Pac or Mayweather fight, they are gonna be raking in over 15 mill each for their efforts so there has to be enough cash to spread around to the agents, promoters, crew members, venue, HBO, Showtime, etc. Not just any no name can bring in enough money for everyone unless they are taking a 90-10% split.

Look this thread was nothing negative about Pacquiao, like i said he's an amazing fighter and will go down as one of the greatest southpaws ever.

      The thread was simple:

'when was the last time Pacquiao fought a fighter coming off a dramatic win'

So far Barrera has been mentioned, any other possible names?

[QUOTE=Ishy Aytan;10411878]Dramatic as in a big win in boxing.

Like Ortiz beating Berto was a dramatic win on saturday. A great fight and a performance no one really expected from Ortiz.

Like Sugar Ray Leonard fighting Hagler who was coming off a dramatic win over Mugabi (now that was a great fight!)[/QUOTE

Miguel and Joshua fought a close fight.. Some say Joshua won that fight.. It could have gone either way imo..that might be "dramatic", right? But it's irrelevant who really won that fight coz' Pac consecutively fought them both and won convincingly.

Is it more defining to fight fighters who has previously won a "dramatic" match or be in a fight where you're supposedly a big underdog and won "dramatically" like what Pac did in the Delahoya fight?

That was not a dramatic win please......

And theres nothing wrong with Pacquiao-Ortiz. Great matchup.

And also fighters coming off dramatic wins usually make more sense to fight as the hype around them tends to be high, hence you can cash in....

Whoa.. slow down there you didnt get what I meant

What i'm trying to say is.. beating Buster Douglas coming off his win over Tyson, by your logic, is better than beating Evander Holyfield coming off his loss in the first Bowe fight..

Ah, so by your 'logic', Floyd fought:

Mosley- coming off a loss to Cotto
Marquez- coming off a loss to Pacquiao, at a CW he didn't honor against a blown up LW
Hatton- DRAMATIC win against faded Castillo, last fight at 147 looked TERRIBLE against Collazo
DLH- coming off a loss to Hopkins
                Baldomir-
Judah- last fight was a loss to Baldomir

                ^You'd agree with this, no?

Yes, yes. It can't be just a win anymore.

It has to be DRAMATIC now.

Better yet, when has Manny fought a fighter coming off a

                  SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS win?
