That is too much to ask for a guarantee but believe it or not, both Mayweather and Pacquiao can make something close to that each, not quite $100Mill, but they can come very close. Looks like Floyd wants to make sure he makes $100mill, not just close to it, because he wants to retire after the Pac fight. Then again, maybe he's bluffing. But believe this, if May and Pac were smarter, they can definitely make $100mill each.


You see Jones vs Calzaghe? You saw the pathetic PPV buys they got from it? Something like 200k or less? Guess what, they each made about $10 million dollars, because it was Jones and Calzaghe who promoted the fight, Sqaure Ring and remember Calzaghe went through court to be free from Frank Warren? Therefore they got to split the money between eachother only, yeah sure HBO and the cable got their split but that's it.

Now imagine that was only 200k PPV buys, imagine if Pacquiao was smart and decided to leave Arum and co promote his own fight with Mayweather promotions/MP promotions. Imagine the PPVs buys these two would get, probably more than DLH-Mayweather, and if not more, then just a bit less, definitely close to 2 million PPV buys. If they did that, they would each make way over $100 mill each, because they would be getting promoter-money/guaranteed purse/ticket revenue/and finally PPV revenue.

But, too bad, Pacquiao will never leave Bob Arum like Joe Calzaghe left his promoter. Manny Pacquiao is not smart enough to do that. Mayweather already does this to an extent, he co-promotes his fights with GBP.
