How many buys will Pac/Mosley do?

I haven't really felt the big media hype that CBS was supposed to do, in fact i'm disappointed and think HBO would have done a better job. If I had to guess on the buyrate for the show as of today I would say 800,000 buys.

It'll do closer to a million if not a bit over, I would have thought.

I'm with the first reply. At or around 1,000,000 buys. CBS hasn't done much and SHOWTIME doesnt reach as many homes. That being said, I can see this fight still doing very well simply off of the huge name and the recognizable name going at it.

      The undercard isn't awful, either.

Anything over 1.4 million and I'd be floored.

I never pay attention to PPV buys, but I know it will get one buy from yours truly.

1.2 -1.4 Cmon, gotta think like the casual TV viewer, and casual boxing fan, Pacquiao in his Prime against Mosley off two defeats, I think it would do over 2.4 if Mosley had defeated both Mayweather and Mora, but he didnt, so its going to be over 1 mil due to Pacquiao drawings because they are marketing it again as still another Pacquiao threat.

If it was just another HBO ppv id say 750-900k. HOWEVER, with the free CBS promotion and what not I think it will bring in an extra 300-400k buyers. So, you got your usual 800k buyers (dedicated fans like myself) who will buy manny's fights notiwthstanding opponent selection. My guess is 1.1-1.3 million.

Just below 1mill. 24/7 and HBO KNOWS how to get you hyped up for the fight. Showtime doesn't do that very well because Fight Camp is extremely boring. It doesn't give you the feeling that Mosley can pull off an upset.

I suspect it's going to be between 1.5-1.8 million, due to more homes having Showtime compared to HBO, however I don't think it'll get close to DLH-Money (2.15 million)

                  but you'll never know
