Making someone quit is bad-ass. Because a stoppage means the fighter probably wanted to keep going (like Juanma), getting stopped early doesn't give someone an idea of how a fight would've played out had it gone longer (Pac and Hatton).
Making someone quit after brutalizing over the course of 9-10 rounds means you got your punches in and you really put the hurt on your opponent before he voluntarily says, "I can't take it anymore...I give up."
That is ultimate submission.
It's kinda' like when I play against my brother in MvC3. He's leagues above me, so the last time he beat me 11 times in a row, I said, "F*** this, I can't do it anymore!" and he just laughed.
