If you really believe what you're saying here, which I doubt, you know almost nothing about boxing. You're in for a very unpleasant night if and when Haye does fight Wlad.
How is this fact? Have you got all punch stats for every HW title fight ever? Is it another Klitschko fan fact where you just guess?

I've seen it in more than one article.

Aside from the nasty trash talk Haye sent the way of the thoughtful and soft-spoken Russian giant, Haye failed to live up to his promise of heavyweight thrills in this fight as well. Haye threw a record low amount of punches for a heavyweight title fight, and ran from Valuev for most of the night (the Russian later complained of “going to a track meet” instead of a boxing match). He did stun Valuev momentarily, landing a hard shot with the fight nearly over, putting him in the same “too little, too late” category as the man he loves to criticize, Wladimir Klitschko

Haye threw 143 punches over 12 rounds which averages out to about 12 punches a round -- widely reported at the time to be the lowest punch output recorded in a heavyweight title fight.

Because some article writers write it that makes it "fact"? I want evidence and unless you've got all the punch stats for every HW title fight ever then it can't be a fact. Even if it was true, how many you land means a hell of a lot more than how many you threw.

I thought I'd made that clear many times in the past. I am nobody's fan. I write it as I see it, I post my candid, considered opinions. As It happens, I have considerable respect for the klitschkos as humanitarians, and very good fighters, and I have little or none for Mr. Haye on either count.

So it's my nature to reply, or make coment on a matter in which I have an interest. "Fans" are generally a bit crazy on the subject of their "fantasies" which therefore excludes me.

This was reported in many descriptions of the fight itself, and in fact, as i recall I read it in a reprinted journalistic report, in this very site, BoxingScene. There was also a mention of an average of 5 punches a round.

And I SAW the fight, and would not in my wildest nightmare call it a fight. More like a very amateur ballet.
