See the whole problem was with Berto's Ninja Turtle stance. Dood couldn't move on his feet and had hand speed. Berto vs Ortiz is a perfect example of when an MMA fighter steps in with a world class boxer. Berto's dad had trained Berto MMA at a young age and got his feet ****ed up with a kick boxing stance. Below is a picture of Berto's stance.

Berto has tremendous talent, and good boxing skills, he lacks foot work, which is gonna hurt you against someone who can box better with foot work and when you don't execute the right game plan, and your game plan is based on one fight from a boxers past your setting your self up to lose. Game plan was easy, jab jab jab, his hand speed is ****** fast, work the body, leave your power on deck until you have broke down Ortiz, where he is slower and hands are lower, then you break out the power but don't abandon the jab, he did none of these, he got confused and panicked, corner offered no help. He started loading up shots, which he never does and all it got him was countered. he needs to.chill and watch that tape over and over again, make a trainer change and make his power his secondary weapon, tweak his boxing skills and fix that damn foot work, there is too much talent, speed and power for him to put to waste.

I think by the time Berto recovered from the 1st knockdown it was too late for their gameplan. Dude was fighting on pure instinct for like 3 rounds after that shot dropped him. I don't think he ever completely recovered from it during the entire fight. GREAT night of boxing, I love it when a guys heart and willpower breaks up a promoter's plan for the "house" fighter.
