I voted for berto, cuz bouncing back is gonna be tough. No more easy fights. Thank god he was exposed finally.

Lopez needs a defensive guru in his corner. We know he can punch. The problem is lopez was supposed to devour Salido.....

Of course, we'll have to wait and see. I'd rather see lopez bounce back. I always hated Berto. "Skills pay the bills" LOL!

I guess my opinion is pretty biased.

Precisely. It's not very often an undefeated fighter loses in his first fight, seeks an immediate rematch, and redeems himself.

I can't think of many to be honest...Taylor lost twice to Pavlik, Calderón to Segura, Mosley to Forrest...

Rematches are won usually by the one who won the first one. It's just the way it is. Juanma has the skills to box as he's used his boxing skills before and has looked good, but ever since that banner year in 2008 with those consecutive three TKOs in the first round made him rely solely on his power and hasn't looked invincible ever since. Juanma can do it, but it is a steep uphill battle.

And to be honest, I'd bet on Salido if the rematch ever gets made...

Juanma, all this time there was talk of Gamboa vs Lopez, and since Gamboa beat Salido pretty easy and Salido got to Juanma I feel that Lopez has it harder than Berto as far as loosing his 0

Also remember, Lopez lost it in his home

Berto was know to make mistakes and ever since Luis Calazo showed that he could hurt Berto and out box him at times , we were all waiting to see who the next big tough opponent would be to face Berto, when I heard it was Ortiz, I got excited

Knowing that Ortiz needed this win more than Berto and knowing that Berto could be exposed

I even made some money off of a bet

          Berto

all he had was that '0'

Juanma STILL has a fanbase and can still sell his fights...Berto is now at the mercy of HBO in getting some kind of luster back

i have to say juanma, because he was supposed to be head and shoulders above salido............ and came up short in a bad way.

berto was the favorite against ortiz, at the same time berto has always been in question of whether or not he was the real deal, this fight showed that he still has lots of room for improvement. props to ortiz to make it the fight it was.

i think the home setting for juanma was more of a devastating loss.

I tend to agree, I also didn't realize Berto is 27, I thought he was younger.

atleast berto made it 12 rounds and dropped ortiz a few times.

juanma got dropped and badly hurt by salido. although I felt the stoppage was early, all the ref did was save juanma from getting KTFO spectacularly
