as much as i want to believe paul would be a much better boxer if he used his height and boxed off the back foot more, i simply think he would get bum rushed and picked up with timing. that is against a live opponent with a good punch. the ONLY reason he was such a good fighter is because of his incredible work rate and ability to overwhelm opponents. his offense was his defense. i don't know if he can box like that and find success at this point in his career. i honestly think lara, as much hype as he is, would have a very good chance of beating williams. seeing your lifeless face all over, and realizing you were literally rendered helpless for 5 minutes of your life has to be scary as ****.

after his last performance, Lara shouldn't be calling anybody out. i heard all this hype about this guy and finally get a chance to see him and he ******! He should fight Latimore.Comment

Lara's wife confirmed Lara didn't call out Ishida and he knows very little about him. So this whole thing should be taken with a grain of salt.Comment

Interesting scrap. Williams has struggled vs Southpaws but idk if Lara is ready for Paul. He's gonna comeback hard after gettin ko by Sergio.Comment

I agree with every point in your analysis. There's no way Lara is ready for an undamaged Williams. I say "undamaged," because you never know what that wicked KO Paul suffered at the hands of Martinez will have on his career. The PW that fought "Maravilla" in their first meeting easily defeats Erislandy. After that lifeless performance versus journeyman Molina, Lara needs to make adjustments and apply them against weaker opposition than "The Punisher".Comment

This news is BS... Every article this dude posts is probably set up by Lara's promoter. Lara doesn't even know he's calling out P. Williams right now. As a matter of fact, he doesn't even know RIGHT NOW who's the Japanese guy he allegedly called out last week.Comment
