    Hasim Rahman? Are You Serious?

    come on, people.

who in their right mind thinks that hasim rahman is the one to beat vitali klitschko? i mean really... HASIM RAHMAN?!?! give me a break! sam peter could beat vitali, lamon brewster could POSSIBLY beat vitali, nicolay valuev could maybe beat vitali, and by a slim and very unlikely chance, james toney could beat vitali. but hasim rahman?

are people so desperate that they have to put their hopes on some1 like hasim rahman? the same guy who was massacred by lennox lewis in the rematch, the guy who couldnt even beat john ruiz, the guy who couldnt even finish the job against david tua, the guy who LOST to OLEG MASKAEV, and the same guy who couldnt even beat a broken down, has-been, past-his-prime evander holyfield?

rahman's greatest victory came against lennox lewis. rahman landed a good punch against a weak-chinned lennox lewis and won the title by KO. in the rematch 7 months later, rahman is dominated, decimated, devastated, and destroyed in every concievable way.

and rahman gets a shot because he beat monte barret in one of the most boring HW matches to date? if this is the WBC's idea of determining a #1 contender, then ANYBODY could get a shot at the title.

what makes anyone think that rahman can get past vitali's jab and land enough punches to win? vitali walked thru everything lennox lewis threw at him and never fell or was wobbled and lennox lewis hits x10 harder than rahman.

be realistic, people. rahman doesnt stand a chance. and if anyone can beat vitali klitschko, its NOT hasim rahman.

They said the same think about Rahman before he faced Lewis and look what happend. I personally feel Klit will win by late TKO but......Rahman does have a punch and if Klit isn't prepared then the Rock has a chance, but not a huge one!

lewis has a weak chin. vitali has a solid chin. and rahman's power is WAY overrated.

rahman doesnt have the power to KO vitali.

Agreed. The Rock is not the fighter who will bring down Dr. Ironfist. But what the heck, look at the HW division right now...The reason we have Rahman as number is because there is simply not alot of choices. And he was the last fighter to beat LL so i guess that gives him a little leverage.Other than that, he is a so-so fighter...

        VK by late KO!

Any time Tua, Tyson, Morrison, landed shots on him.....didint do a damn thing.

Flash knockouts do not count as measures of someone's chin.

Hmmmmmm, Lewis' chin is a bit of a mystery really. He was KO`ed twice, thats bad but he did take everyone elses punches when he had to. I think Lewis should be perhaps labeled average in the chin department.

ask any boxing expert about lennox lewis' chin. then see some of his fights and see how well he really takes a punch.

he was KOd by mccall and rahman, neither of whom are phenominal punchers.
