Originally posted by McKay 1How many fights have you seen of McBride except vs Tyson. And he did dominate Tyson. Ruiz is the longest reigning Heavyweight Champion and you honestly give McBride no change against Ruiz. He has all the tools to beat Ruiz. He has size, strength, an uppercut, a jab, good infighting skills. Stylistically he is nightmare for the current longest reigning heavyweight champ.

Originally posted by McKay 1I think he has the potentional to be a heavyweight champ. But I think he is poorly promoted. He is currently ranked something like 15th in the world. yet I here nothing about him fighting any name heavyweights at the moment even though he just defeated Tyson. When Williams defeated Tyson, he immediately got a title shot for what is considered the real Heavyweight Championship vs Vitali. McBride has not gotten ****. No offers for a fight from any name heavyweights which is bull**** in my opinion. And in alot of ways McBride dominated Tyson in a much stronger fashion than did Williams.

Originally posted by McKay 1Well he has improved since then. He has a new trainer. The Petronelli's who trained Hagler. And he dominated Tyson more so in my opinion than did Williams. For beating the #1 name in boxing McBride should at least get a chance vs a name opponent. Williams for f***k sake got a title shot at what is considered the real heavyweight championship. And you think it is ridiculous McBride should get an offer to fight at the very least a top 10 contender. That is very hypocritical.

The only thing that really bothers me about Peter is that for a brawler, he seems reluctant to get hit. If his opponent doesn't do anything, he wails away, but if his opponent hits him back, he doesn't actually trade with them, he waits until they stop punching before he attacks again. I think if he does that with Wlad, it could cause major problems for him. Don't get me wrong, I think that he will eventually try to go for it, he just seems like that type, but if Wlad gets confident he is hard to deal with.

Originally posted by KimmyI agree with most of this. Can't give ya the Mercer win though. Mercer was 40 years old, had been VERY inactive and appeared fat and lazy during the fight.
