It was not Martinez who refused. It was Zbik. The WBC never took away Zbik's mandatory because they know Zbik is the easy one. Julio César Chávez Jr. is just too protected for people to respect him. Also, have you seen his shadow boxing? He looks horrible.

Naw it was martinez who refused not bc he was scared of him but bc hbo didnt want to buy that fight bc no one cared about it. And yea he has been protected but he is begging to face his biggest test like duddy and now zbik. And if he wins rubio is a legit opponent for his first defence. And yea i saw the vid but hey i see some positives in him. He has good combinations and is a good body puncher. Idk never seen zbik pretty sure you havent either. I cant say if hes a bum or a good fighter but he is the tittle holder and he is undeafeated. You cant bash him for going for zbik it would be suicide had he gone after martinez. Let em win his tittle and then we will see what he does.
