Which Klitschko do you LIKE more?

Not who would win in a fight.

    Just your favorite brother.

Wladimir. I don't like how awkward Vitali's style is and how he kept pulling out of fights against Rahman.

There should be an option for "I like them both"

The question is who do like more? There is no such thing as liking them equally.

Even between your parents, You probably love them both Im sure, but deep down you have a preference for one over the other.

I see you are 18, but you shouldn't be showing it with your posts. Are you not aware of the REASONS for these postponements.....I will tell you.

The first was caused by Klitschko feeling a pain in his thigh when jogging, and thought he'd damaged a thigh muscle. Although, as Klitschko said himself, just jogging shouldn't damage his thigh muscle. He was puzzled. They TENTATIVELY remade the fight for about 6 weeks later, assuming that this would be healed by then. There was NO confirmed date, nor arena nor TV nor anything booked. Just suggestion, AS IS USUAL with injuries.

It did NOT heal, to they realised there was more to it and had a CT Scan. This showed that it was NOT an INJURY, nor was it a thigh muscle tear causing the pain, but an overgrown spinal spur, pressing on the nerve which served that part of his thigh. This is a natural thing, occurring to many. SOoooo they realised that it needed SPINAL SURGERY. The tentative date had to be rescheduled to an even more tentative date a couple or more months in the future. Again, no arena was booked, no date was finalized,(only suggested, as always), no adverts, no TV date was scheduled etc.etc.

In the meantime, Don King's cunning took over. He and Rahman began to accuse Klitschko of cowardice, and worse, and of course the ignorant Boxing site posters followed suit. They knew NOTHING of what happened, but believed King, of ALL people to believe.
So, when Klitschko was finally recovered, and said he would be ready to fight in September, what did King and Rahman do. They didn't begin training for their toughest fight ever, but quickly arranged a fight with Rahman's best pal, Monte Barrett. Klitschko objected strongly. But King and Rahman swore that they would still be ready and able to fight Klitschko on the suggested date, some 7-8 weeks later. And, of course this was quite possible.

In possibly the stinkerOO of ALL stinkaroos of a fight, Rahman "beat" Barrett over 12. The Klitschko September fight was NEVER publicly mentioned again, and the fight was arranged definitely for November. Just a week or less before the fight, Klitschko's leg became entangled with his sparring partner, and he snapped the Posterior cruciate ligament, a most important knee connection. and, to save the WBC from problems, he reluctantly announced his retirement, since it was expected thatt his injury would take at least a year to recover. It took nearly 4 years. In return, the WBC made Klitschko the Champion Emeritus (a Latin, Scholastic term) and made him the automatic #1 challenger ANY time he decided to return to the ring.

In truth, Rahman would have hardly laid a glove on Klitschko who would have half killed him, probably into retirement.

Oh yes, King and Rahman as soon as they heard of the sparring injury, spread around the story, to prove that Klitschko was so afraid of Rahman that he was ducking him, that even his novice sparring partner had knocked him down in the ring...

Sorry it was so long, but the injustice and deceit of King and Rahman just get's me annoyed. In the whole event there was only ONE INJURY, and that was the snapping of Klitschko's Posterior Cruciate Ligament, in sparring, just before the fight.

I like to watch them both, but VK's awkward style intrigues me more, not so expected and stereotyped, and I'm thoroughly familiar with the Classical Boxing style, where the perfect punches are always thrown. But with VK, you never know what's coming from him, nor how, except that it will be a beating.

I used to enjoy Naseem Hamed's off-key style , as well as Emanuel Augustus', for the same reasons.

I find it hilarious when people say he doesnt have good defense! That is actually his BEST quality IMO and gives the illusion of a strong chin.

I believe Vitali and Wladimir have the same chin, but Vitali's awkward and tall style allows him to dodge the killer blows. Its his DEFENSE, not chin that makes him the better brother.

You seriously did NOT just say Wlad's chin is on par with his bigger bro's IRON jaw just because Vitali has the lean back option on D? His defense is great but we've seen his chin is great as well when his defense fails. Vitali took the same EXACT BLOW flush without leaning back from Sanders that knocked down his little bro 4 times. Try again Joe c & MAD PROPS to that Edgarg dude for throroughly going into detail as to what would've been left of Rahman's career had Vitali not torn his knee up a week before fighting him. Rahman AVOIDED the beating of his life & this dude was ktfo the ring & rendered unconscious at least twice in his career. Rahman.. Byrd & Lewis are the luckiest 3 fighters in heavyweight history as they ALL avoided Klitschko's full wrath because of injuries sustained on the part of Dr. Ironfist & therefore DON'T have L'S next to there name vs Vitali. Believe that Joeyz!

He has an excellent defence similiar to what tall early 20th century fighters had, of using their height and leaning back, with weight on the back foot mostly. If yoyu ever look at old posed boxing pictures, you'll see exactly the same stance as V Klitschko.

But he also has a chin like concrete. Lennox Lewis, in their fight, gave him as hard as he could, and he didn't even blink an eye. True, he doesn't often get hit, and even then rarely square on the mark, but his great defence is aided by his granite chin.

If David Haye, or his supporters, think that Haye will KO VK if and when they fight, (I don't expect they will) they'd better think again. He could do a Mayorga like stunt of exposing his chin for a few free wallops and my feeling is that it wouldn't hurt him. A natural lucky attribute for a boxer.
