I remember a bunch a threads a few months ago talking about how there were no talented stars amongst Mexican and Mexican American fighters but it seems to be that Puerto Rico is really the one whos suffering a major power outage. JuanMa the biggest up and coming star lays a giant ***ing egg against a Mexican journeyman. Calderon and Cotto are washed up at this point and are stuck fighting on the old man circut. And all the up an coming Amatures are about as exciting as Daniel Santos. Seriously will their even be a Puerto Rico vs Mexico rivalry next year?

This shortage does not mean anything. It's just comes and go. Seems Pacquiao and a bunch of other nationality are in now but they are not forever.

There are no shortage of Mexican and Puerto Rican boxing talents, just a matter of time
the rest will fade and the Latinos will be back. Nothing is permanent.

Nah. PR has too much talent. Besides, alot of very good fighters come from outa nowhere like Trindad and JC Chavez to name a couple.

Who does Mexico have? Chavez Jr and Alvarez? Is only a matter of time till those overated bums get exposed. Even a dumb ass can see those two are brutal KO's waiting to happen with all the flaws they have. Ortiz beat freaking Berto big ****ing deal dude, is a solid win but nothing to get excited for considering his fights with Maidana and Petterson.

Puerto Rico still has great talent and watch out for Vazquez Jr. I think he will be a force in a couple of years now that Top Rank can build him up. Dude stays in shape all the time.

One thing I want to know is why don't people talk about the countries that don't produce any(maybe one champ in a while) champions.

                india, china, canada, france, spain
