Ortiz's corner wasn't any better to be honest it reminded me of Cotto's corner when he and his uncle had a fit, Cotto's friend was suppose to be the coach, all they both did was just blabber on and on.

Bertos corner was awful. most of their advice was terrible, and on the odd occasion they were giving out advice, his brother wouldnt stop screaming in his ear.

I have no doubt Berto was getting nothing at all out of the chorus of people all yelling at him. it annoyed me and they werent even my face. Berto would have been better off if they just threw a chair up and let him rest with no one around.

The only one in the corner giving advice should be the trainer and the fighters full attention should be on his trainer, but his ****** brother kept on distracting him and nothing was sinking in.

it was a MESS...but go back and watch the Collazo fight and it was a mess during that fight

BUT...you can't blame the Trainer, Berto is not the smartest fighter in the world, he don't even listen to his CORNER, I think some of these fighters have A.D.D. because the Trainers are telling them stuff like "USE YOUR JAB" and they go right back out and do the SAME **** OVER AND OVER

Berto needs a trainer to help him become a BETTER BOXER OVERALL, he has Power, he has amazing speed, but I cannot believe that his Footwork and Defense never improved after all these years, the dude didn't learn **** from the Collazo fight, all you have to do is land a few punches against Berto and he turns into a Brawler...His Ring IQ is EXTREMELY LOW, he is not crafty or clever, just a guy with Speed and Power

Need to hire Emanuel Steward, because Steward was pointing everything he was doing wrong during that fight and he has called a lot of Berto fights so he already knows what to do with him

how?... his trainer was giving him good instructions... berto on the other hand had 3 guys trying to talk to him at once, i didnt realize his dad was the guy behind him making things worse.. its your dad and your trainer talking, who do you listen to?... then you got the little loudmouth brother.. i wanted to punch my tv everytime he shouted something ****** out.."youre an assasin!"..

point being, the only person that should be talking to the fighter is the trainer (like in ortiz's corner)... either way from the talking berto's trainer was giving, he sounded like an amateur... somebody else pointed out, emanuel stweard seemed to know alot about berto and it would help him out alot if he hired him
