I just watched the fight and lopez wasn't getting owned he just needs to work on keeping his hand up in defense of the right hand. And as a champion and undefeated fighter the ref ****ed up. I know u should protect fighters but he was punching back and he had a chance to win. He was still in the fight.

You believe what you want. That’s commendable. The truth is that Juanma was his ass whooped in round 8 and the ref felt it was too much. All the ref did was his job of protecting the fighters.

juan ma made his biggest mistake by trying to out slug salido. he should have used his boxing skills and took salido into the later rounds and then thought about going for the ko. also he has to tie up salido when he was hurt. he kept trying to punch when his legs were not with him. i thought the stoppage was right as lopez took a lot of clean shots and his legs kept buckling. but to his credit lopez didnt make any excuses he gave salido his due and asked for a rematch.
