Gamboa is truly one of the elite athletes in the sport. As far as pure athletic ability he is every bit as talented as Pac, Mayweather, and Martinez. Speed, quickness, power, agility, reflexes...this kid literally has it all. JuanMa losing is exactly what Bob Arum deserved....God I really do despise that scumbag Arum.

Gamboa should fight Rojas. I would like that fight.

Man it feels like just yesterday when people were hating on gamboa and calling him overated. with that said if he does lose, you'll see a lot of "I knew Gamboa was overated" threads"

I haven't seen too much hate towards Gamboa, although many people have called him "overrated." I think JuanMa got a lot more hate. Now that Lopez has been brought closer to earth, some people will probably ease up towards him. It certainly seems as though Salido's performance not only brought JuanMa down, but Yuri up. Most people are carried with the prevailing wind: if a fighter's winning, he's great; if he's losing, he's a "bum".

Gamboa is something to behold. What he brings can't be taught. There are many good fighters out there, but precious few inspire awe. I've re-watched some of Yuri's recent fights; even in the ones that see the final bell, Gamboa looks like the other guy doesn't belong in the same ring with him. Fighters like "El Ciclon" don't come along every day...appreciate them while they're still in or around their prime.
