    I think this match-up is high risk-low reward for Canelo.

    Make no mistake, Mayorga looked good against Cotto and is still a live threat, a KO loss to Mayorga could be very damaging. They are right to bring up him up slowly, as he still has flaws and with proper management could be a white superstar for boxing (particularly if he learns English).

    Comparisons with Berto are way off the mark, Berto is 27, Canelo is still just 20 years old with already 10 more professional fights than Andre Berto.

      Thats exactly what is wrong with boxing ....They should stop trying to " build " superstars and let the guys prove what they're made of themselves , especially if the guy is already a " World Champ ".... They'll be better fighters at the end.
