    Paul McCloskey’s team may have to find another route back to contention for their man following his six round TD defeat to WBA light-welterweight title holder Amir Khan. McCloskey was pulled from the fight at 2:30 of the round after an accidental clash of heads opened up a cut on his brow.

      He will probably try look for a fight with a top 10 contender in one of the major belt holders rankings anyway.

          how do u figure that? he just got himself massive exposure and on the wrong end of a dubious reffing decision he can now talk to the big boys ...john murray would have given his left bollock for coverage of this type....ebu belt or no....murray has to deal with rees or mitchell to even get on the radar. paul is already on it.

                wouldn't a matt hatton- McCloskey fight be great. two pasty untalented white guys who cannot punch fighting each other. A meaningless fight between two meaningless fighters.
