Fight Of The Year So Far???

I know this is abit premature but people tend to forget decent fights as the year draws to an end....so whats been your highlight of the year so far?

Mine has to be the Ortiz/Berto fight

T'was awsome, classic boxer vs brawler it was back and forth all night with an awsome finish. This gets my vote. Although Ortiz-Berto was more pretty dramatic but after round 6 it got kind of boring.

I heard concepcion-Marquez was a classic but havn't had the chance to sit and watch it yet.

Marquez vs. Concepcion was a pretty entertaining brawl where they also traded knockdowns. Another one of those fights that flies under most fans' radars.

I didnt know you could fight yourself? Lol but yeah rios vs acosta is the best with action from beggining to the middle to the end and had a great finish. The ortiz fight lacked in the end. And the marquez conception was great in the beggining but wasnt consistent throught the middle rounds and the ending wasnt great.

I would have to agree completely.

Marquez vs. Conception is a fight that would fly by many people's radars. So for those who have not seen it, watch it! Rounds 1-4 were rounds that remind me why I am a boxing fan. Hernan did however take over the fight after the fourth and the rounds became lack luster as compared to it's predecessors. Great fight nonetheless.

The Ortiz fight suffered from Berto's constant holding in the later rounds (understandable as he seemed hurt and discouraged after the 6th). The drama of Ortiz getting caught by something late was still there, though the first half of that fight was a sight to see. Great fight.

Rios vs. Acosta was reminiscent of Margarito vs. Cotto. Acosta was having much success in the earlier rounds with Rios slowly creeping into the fight, eventually knocking his man out. Both fighters were hit with plenty of hard/flush shots and the pace was high all throughout the fight. I would have to say this fight tops them all for 2011 thus far.
