Comments Thread For: Chemito May Sue Over Golden Boy Deal; Lewkowicz Ban

The career of WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno is now stalled after the lengthy negotiations to ink a deal with Golden Boy Promotions fell apart. Respected matchmaker, adviser and promoter Sampson Lewkowicz, acting on behalf of Golden Boy, was trying to sign Moreno to a four fight deal worth $1.2 million dollars.

The title is misleading. But good for moreno if he sues his manager. He needs to quit holding that belt hostage though

      It's About Time!

Sampson Lewkowicz is rumored in boxing to be a sleazy backroom dealing piece of vermin, good for Moreno and his manager to not give into this scum. Hopefully Sergio Martinez and the rest of his fighters will open there eyes and watch there pockets. Maybe Golden Boy should be more careful who represents them??

You make a lot of libelous comments about a lot of people in boxing without any proof. I've yet to see a single fighter sue Lewkowicz or complain about their deal with him.

              What a damn fool

Chemito had the opportunity to fight for the biggest promoter in the business and he sat on his nuts and let the opportunity pass by. Now he's blaming other people as if he couldnt speak for himself before the deal was off the table. Now he'll have to fight for Top Stank or some other two-bit outfit

sounds more like the fighter was on board with the GB deal but the manager killed it.......

Samson is actually not a bad guy, and he always comes through with what he says he will. In boxing, that means alot............
