no problem at all with it, but I question whether it's accurate. thats 10cm on Ali who had a tall build.

no doubt it was long, but 30cm longer than his height is questionable. It's a lot easier to fudge the figures on reach than height.

sure you can but most people don't. where as with reach most keep growing far later than height. it's the same with muscle mass.

Humans with longer arms become boxers.

The reason those guys are boxers is because they have longer arms.If you try to make it at the top you can not because your arms are shot. When you raise your hands you leave your body exposed and you will get beat everyday

taking wingspan into account IS proper, contrary to the aforementioned comments. You can feel it in your jab - if you fully extend your back into it you can make your jab rangier. Marquez does it. Seriously - start doing some serious pullups and your lats will widen and enable you to extend your jab further.

I've always felt the most dangerous type of fighters, are tall guys who can punch, cause if you dont have the physical dimensions to compete from range, and have to force the issue by trying to get on the inside, it means you gotta take chances to get close, and as I say, if the tall guy has a good long range game, but can also punch, its doubly hard.

Imagine Wlad without the power, and ask yourself, would he be as good from long range without that power to keep his opponents firmly in their place, apprehensive about trying to get close?
