Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya admitted that Paul McCloskey deserves another shot at WBA 140-pound champion Amir Khan. Last Saturday at the MEN Arena in Manchester, the fight was stopped in the sixth round after a clash of heads opened up a cut above the left eye of McCloskey. The ringside doctor stopped the fight and Khan won a six round technical decision.

WHAT??!! i was sooo disappointed in this fight cuz i dont blame this on Amir cuz he was the one pushing the fight and this Mccloskey idiot was just trying to make khan miss and.......THATS IT!!!! i would have rather seen Amir fight Prescott and that would have being a more intriguing match up given he KO'd Amir..and belive me everyone knows who the hell Prescott is in the UK!! i bet the Queen knows hes name too!! it would have being a interesting match up than this Mccloskey guy..WHO THE F*** IS McCloskey!!!!?????

Paul lost every round on every scorecard. On top of that, the bout wasn't really entertaining. I don't know who would want to see a rematch.
