Hardly the reaction of a fighter who just got robbed.
Be careful, SCtrojans doesn't appreciate common sense.

JuanMa is one of those rare boxers who's courage makes him a danger to himself. His corner better be ready to stop the fight in time if he's getting hurt in a rematch. Think about it-- 1) a dead game fighter + 2) a ref too nervous about stopping the fight early + 3) macho cornermen = 4) JuanMa might be in a very dangerous situation

What dont people get he was getting tagged by hard shot to the head in the last four rounds. He didnt seem to be able to defend himself againts salido head shots and it was just getting worse. I could hardly understand him when he was talking at the post fight interview.

It's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback. JuanMa has a ton of heart and despite all the flush shots he refused to go down again. The ref potentially saved him from permanent damage IMO. He's got a long career ahead and that is only possible if he has his health
          Plus a sound defense.

At first I was mad but there was more than a minute left for Salido to land a big punch and end Juanma. So it was a good stopage

Imagine if Juanma were seriously damaged in the fight. Then, ref gets all the blame for not stopping early.

Let lopez go out like a champ... he has one punch KO power. He was severly rocked by Salido, but Salido's punches were sloppy...

I don't blame the ref, and i can't say its a bad stoppage... but I personally would not have stopped it there.... I may have stopped it a few seconds after that... but not there... Good stoppage i guess... but i see an argument, correction a strong argument not to stop it there, if you're a knowledable ref

This is the problem, refs know that if they're one punch too late, then they're concidered murderers of heros....

Boom Boom Mancini comes to mind, so many people blamed the ref, but dudemo never stopped punching, and fought like a champ, you had to give him the benifit of the doubt.... it was unfortunate.

Refs get all the blame for stopping fights early or too late... the best of refs stop at exactly the right time.... Those refs should teach others....

It's better to stop a few second earlier than later. A few seconds later, the fighter maybe finished permanently or worse yet dead. Juanma deserve to go out like a champ: TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY. Is he suppose to fight until brain dead? What would it prove?
