Realistically Pac would have never been hit with that shot.

But, lets say he did. Whether he took flush shots from Cotto or Marg is irrelevant to how he would take that shot.

Mosley is a harder hitter than both Torres and Corley. And, never once did he drop or had Cotto hurt like Torres did or never once was he ever close enough to have Cotto out of there like Corley did.

So point being just because Pac could take Cotto or Marg shot doesn't necessary mean he could take that shot.

However, just because it looked powerful, it dropped Ortiz, and had Ortiz hurt. Doesn't really mean that it was actually a powerful punch. Just because Ortiz chin is really not that good at all. It's not as bad as Khan chin but it's questionable at best.

It takes a lot more to hurt or drop a fighter like Pac, Mosley, Floyd, Marg and so forth than it would against the likes of Ortiz, Berto, Khan, Bradley etc etc.

IF that shot would have landed, which it wouldn't have, but if it did. I would lean towards taking that punch without getting knockdown. And, if Pac did get knockdown I still expect him to finish Berto off.

What I find it funny and pretty idiotic by ******ed ass TS. Is that he's not even asking if that shot would have drop Pac. He already assumes that shot would knock Pac down, which is laughable to make that assumption without giving Pac the benefit of the doubt, he's asking if Pac would have gotten KO'd or finish if he would have gotten up.

I am in NO WAY saying Berto would land that punch against Pac, or that he would beat Pac.....

It probably would have stopped him from attacking for a moment, but I don't think it would bother him the way some people may think. Pacquiao has a very good chin, an excellent chin really. Judging from how he took Cotto's and Marg's punches (especially margs since he was pretty much a SMW) I think Pacquiao would have took that Berto punch well. Cotto hit him a big left hook in the 2nd round of their fight and he took that pretty good as well.

You also have to take into account that Ortiz doesn't have the best chin out there. In fact his chin is rather suspect. Going into the maidana fight they were talking about how Maidana was going to try and expose Ortiz's suspect chin. Throw in the fact that he pretty much turned his head into Berto's right hand on that particular KD.

I don't really consider Berto to be that big of a puncher anyway, he can punch but he isn't that big of a puncher in my opinion (at least from the fights I've seen him in). I think Cotto has heavier hands than he does. It's just that Berto is quicker.

So even if that punch were to have landed on Pacquiao, I don't think it would have knocked him down. I don't think he would have even wobbled from that punch. I think he would have just taken it and given 3-4 back to Berto in their next exchange.

That was a hard shot arm punch or not. Ever since the wraps scandal, people act as if Marg can't punch.

Every single person who has fought him talk about how "thudding" his shots are. Even Pac said he's never been hit so hard in his life and that was AFTER the wraps scandal.

Marg may not have one punch KO power but he has some seriously heavy hands.
