He's not consistently doing that anymore. He's been feeling the shots in his later fights. his chin is absolutely granite at 126-130 starting the Barrera fight.

He came back at Margarito plenty of times. I remember commentary discussing how Pac always comes back and how all greats do that. I also remember a GIANT left uppercut (Margarito's best punch) with a little forward momentum to it as well with no reaction from Manny. That was from a guy that was a lot bigger than Berto, and always a bigger puncher.
