If Pacquiao got hit with the Berto punch that dropped Ortiz in the 6th round.....

A punch like that to anybody's head is gonna wobble, go down, or just be buzzed. If anyone says different they have no clue...that was a clean flush shot...Would Pacquiao have gotten up? Or would Berto have been able to finish the smaller Pac?
I am in NO WAY saying Berto would land that punch against Pac, or that he would beat Pac.....
I am just wondering if you guys think that Pacquiao can take a flush, clean, powerful shot from a natural welterweight?Comment

I think Manny's short bulked up legs has protected him from getting KD(knockdown) in many tough situations in his past fights. Some Boxers aren't lucky enough to have strong legs that could prevent them from getting KD or KO.Comment

They did not hurt him. They stun him. Pac is also 14lbs lighter. so i think that explains it. bigger fellas take bigger shots.Comment

Cotto never landed anything flush on Pacquiao really. his best work was done with uppercuts that were partially blocked.pac is a different fighter from when he fought marquez (at least from what i can see as far as chin goes)
berto is mostly speed.....his power can't match with cottos, berto has pop & nothing more........
i see manny taking it with a smile.......
bertos power is grossly overrated at times.
Pacquiao doesnt have this iron, unhurtable chin people make it out to be. its good, no doubt, but the guy will be stunned if he gets hit flush.
Berto had some nasty KOs of guys, worse than any KOs Cotto had at WW. His explosive power is different from Cotto's more clubbing power.Comment

u mean to tell me pacman's head didnt snap back a few times when we was flirting with cotto on the ropes? only different from cotto's and berto's punches was manny didnt go down and ortiz did thus making berto's punches seem more powerful.Comment

hurt and stun are the same thing in my book. Im not suggesting Pacquiao was ready to go, but he felt those shots and had to recoop, there is no doubt about that.Comment
