I think his point was that Khan doesn't have a su****ious history of head clashes. All fighters will clash heads with other fighters at points in their careers.

Khan lunges in with his head in one position, then McCloskey turns his head in to Khan for the headbutt.. watch the slow motion you will see

he did it to himself just like barrera did.. they both try to headbutt khan and they both get cut.. difference was that against barrera khan got cut too and in a worse place than barrera, he gets cut on the eyelid
