Its funny that you mention that because I watched the fight with my in laws and they were all pissed that Ortiz did thati had to pay off two of my mexican friends for losing the juanma-salido bet we had and i asked one of them what he thought about the victor ortiz fight. he said he was rooting for berto to make him quit because he didnt like how ortiz had the usa flag on the front side of his trunks and the mexican flag on the backside. did any of u guys feel any type of way about it?????
they said he should have had the mexican flag in the front and the us flag on the back.
I thought it was a ******ed comment
he was born and raised in these united states so this country should come first regardless if the person is mexican, PR, Cuban, German whateverComment

i think it depends on the individual. One might be more proud to be american while the other from his parents are from. Case in point vic seems more proud to be american while rios mexican. Its funny that you mention that because I watched the fight with my in laws and they were all pissed that Ortiz did that

im talking about larry merchant. not the poster larry. your gonna say he is white and wtf does he know i bet. and cotto lost to a mexican but the point of your sig is saying these guys lost their belts to mexicans and he didnt lose that belt to a mexican so it doesnt make sense. juanma and calderon did but not him.Comment

How does he act like a whiteboy?.. He just a normal American.. To act Mexican you have act a certain way?... We don't have a identity crisis so don't start as if we do.Comment

I thought the same thing. he shouldn't of had the flag on his "backside" it's a little disrespectful. have both on the front. its like not letting the flag touch the floor if you know what i mean. you're never supposed to let the flag touch the floor. (any flag)i was curious to see what u guys thought of it. i can understand where he is coming form a lil bit. he said having the mexican flag on the backside was a diss and he called ortiz an uncle hector. u know instead of uncle tom for african-americans he called ortiz an uncle hecotr. i thought that was pretty funny.
