lol you people are so typical "if they don't fight on american television they suck" Aydin hits harder then Berto anybody with two eyes can see that. The fight would be a war but I think Aydin has more power and will play the role of counter puncher and stop Ortiz

looked this aydin guy up, undefeated with 16 KOs out of 21 fights, that's really good. he hasn't fought anyone notable, but hey, it's a mandatory. ortiz should take this fight, seems like a good fight. beating undefeated fighters back to back sounds like a good way to start out his welterweight run.

this is probably selcuk aydin's best known fight.
Selcuk Aydin (19-0) vs Ionut Dan Ion (26-0)
        scorecards: 114-113 (aydin), 114-113 (aydin), 111-116 (ion)

That's fine you don't like Berto but be honest with your self, it makes you look bad and uncredible to say Berto ducked Aydin
            you're dumb...
            ***** please.

it don't matter that aydin is a somebody or nobody. he was berto's mando and he should've taken care of it like a true champ.

I don't let HBO decide who's a somebody and who's a nobody? Aydin obviously paid his dues to get a shot at the title.

Berto and Ortiz would mop up the floor with Aydin! Aydin has struggled with guys Berto and Ortiz would torch. The dude is slow-footed and easy to hit. Let him beat a named fighter first.

I watched Aydin on you tube and my question is, how did he become the mandatory? He has a list of who's that he's trounced, but doesn't he need to, at least, beat a minor contender before he becomes the mandatory. Berto beat name opposition to get his shot, as did Ortiz; now here comes Aydin, with a home built record of small achievement as a mandatory. I don't mind him getting his hat handed to him, it,s just that I KNOW he will get beat. He really hasn't earned the shot.

Sounds like the perfect fight for Ortiz. Hes basically still a prospect himself as long as hes fighting top 10 WWs you cant hate it.

very true, as long as he's fighting natural WWs (especially an undefeated fighter) no one can really complain.

Everyone gave up on him after Maidana, but I still thought he was for real until he faced Peterson. After that he didnt look like a fighter, but I dont know what to think after the Berto fight.
