Ortiz-Mayweather might happen soon. But if Maidana-Ortiz happens, I think Ortiz will win.

Ortiz is very hitable and Maidana will catch him, doesnt mean he will beat him but he can definetely catch him and possibly know him down.

Ortiz v Mayweather would be a very good fight. Who you got?

Its a legitimate question dingleberry. I am not going to assume anything based on one performance.

Ortiz made a fan out me last Saturday, but I can still ask the question. This is a dangerous sport, if he were to feel his health was in danger in a future fight would you blame him for quitting? It can certaintly happen again, but I wouldnt blame him.

He showed his heart Saturday no question Im not doubting it.

If Maidana was to move up to 147lbs and fight Ortiz again, he would lose this time around. Ortiz is a better boxer than Maidana, and I can see Ortiz hurting Maidana. Maidana is really just a power puncher, Ortiz on the other hand has power and is a much better technical fighter.

Ortiz is a good figher. I've always been a big fan of his.. I know Vic would smoke Maidana this time around. He was beating him most of their last fight.. His head wasnt right..

The only people who thing maidana would win are those who are upset at Vic for quitting which is understandable.. I dont post much on here anymore, I lurk more than anything because of the ******ity, but in the buildup to this fight in all the interviews ive seen, ive seen a side of vic that looked pissed, yet focused on winning. like he knew something we all didnt.. I thought he was going to win, but with everyone predicting berto to win, it threw me off.. Vic had excellent stamina..

He needs to just work on his bodywork.. I was impressed and he still remains my current favorite fighter.. Hes had my respect before this berto bout.. WARTIZ

                Maidana has great recuperative powers.

                Hes like Majin Buu.

He won't stop until he's been KO'd or he KO's you.

Ortiz went straight SSJ3 against Berto.

He might just be able to pull it off.

                Make it happen.

Vic can be a serious force at 147....I look forward to see what he brings.

This fight has a great story line if it happens. Can garner the fighters a nice payday and we boxing fans a nice little war on a saturday night. I think it will get done eventually, if and when Maidana moves up in weight. Should be a good one.

i think ortiz would be able to handle the shots better at 147, he looks bigger and wouldn't be dried out.

i do think maidana is a natural power puncher though and i think that he can take his punch with him to 147.

i don't see ortiz getting suckered into another slugfest, i think that he would really box and constantly move. it was when he opened up is where he got caught, not maidana leading coming in throwing bombs, not until he had ortiz in some sort of trouble.... so i think ortiz takes inventory of himself and makes the adjustments in a rematch.

i also see the confidence factor though in this fight, maidana being confident over ortiz and ortiz feeling better after his recent win and his ability to handle punches better at 147, the only thing is, maidana could have ortiz number, to where each time they fight, ortiz gets fatigued by maidana's determination, who knows, i sure don't, but we've seen fighters have a nemesis to where one guy just has the goods over the other no matter how they stack up on paper...........
