Nothing but excuses for JuanMa. You cannot accuse a ref of betting unless you have solid proof this happened. This is slander and if I was the ref, I would be pissed off.

I thought the stoppage was a little early but I don't think the result would have been different. JuanMa was hurt for 3 rounds, he slumped into his corner right after the 7th, it didn't look good.

If the ref didn't stop it, Salido lands a huge right hand and could have seriously hurt JuanMa. Good stoppage IMO.

Junma has taken more damage than Ortiz, he was out on his feet and a KO would have could have potentially turned him into a SHOT fighter--and I think Ortiz has better ability than Juanma.

Yeah this guy needs to leave that ref alone already and go holler at Nacho Beristein or Steward

Salido was on his way to stopping Juanma anyway, but the stoppage was premature. He was hurt, but you never stop a fight when the guy is still throwing punches.

Why you picked him to ref the fight then? STFU already.

The Donaire-Montiel fight went on for too long, the Kirkland-Ishida fight was stopped prematurely, the ref in the JuanMa-Salido fight was against JuanMa all along.

Poor refs get nothing but shitted on for anything they do.

He landed the last punch before the stoppage but Juanma was on his way to the canvas again. His heart and the mentality of never having been defeated was what kept him up, but the referee did the correct thing.

I was there live and the place went berserk. There was a group of guys behind me who started to chant, "Arbitro...cabron! Arbitro...cabron!" which more or less means a**hole in Spanish. The stoppage was correct. Juanma was sloppy, looked tired before the sixth round, and had no regard for defense. He was not going to make it to the final bell.
