Ortiz definitely won the fight...

Although in round 6, I think Berto won it 10-9...

They both scored knockdowns, so they cancel each other out... but it was Berto basically battering the hell out of Ortiz the entire round, almost getting him out of there... Ortiz lands and knocks Berto down to even out the knockdowns, but the ROUND itself went to Berto.

Regardless I had Ortiz winning.

Yes, I think Ortiz WON the fight, but we score fights round by round and sometimes the final math looks different than the actual fight. There were Ortiz rounds that if I could have I would have score 10-8.5 (such as the 4th and/or 11th), and there were Berto rounds where if I could have I would scored 10-9.5 (such as the 7th)

Ortiz dominated this entire fight with the rounds that Berto won, he won just barely. Whoever typed that up does not know how to score a fight.

Thank god that person is not a judge because those are the kinds of views that ruin boxing.

If that fight would have been a draw or scored for Berto I would have quit watching boxing - No point with crap like that.

that doesn't dismiss the main thrust of the criticism against you... that you suck as boxing judge and can't score fights worth a damn...

I am with you Dirk. 2 Rounds comfortably, 3 at most with it being very close and hard to call.

He also got a gift with that KD not counting and the hit behind the head getting called, especially since Berto was putting it there to get hit on purpose. He was trying to score points unfairly - essentially he was behind and he knew it so he was cheating.

Berto had no idea how to handle the pressure and when Ortiz didn't go down like Freddy Hernandez to his best shows, Berto had no idea what to do. He looked like a lost dog, reminded me of how Mosley just looked confused and had no answers against Floyd.

sorry TS but this is not a draw probably not even in your own true opinion... you might just be doing it for the attention. i had it 116-110 or 109 like almost everyone else who scored it fairly (im at work and my scorecards at home but i'll post it later) anyways, round 6 was a 10-9 round for berto after the knockdowns and i think i had MAYBE 1 more round that could've went either way.

you're way off tho. no hard feelings, you're just wrong.
