Chris Byrd was doing pretty good the last few rounds before Vitali quit, one of the few times I've seen Byrd chase an opponent around the ring. Lennox was landing some big shots and coming back the last couple rounds before Vitali retired in his corner.

Alot of fighters have fought with broken bones and broken jaws and some managed to finish on their feet and somehow win! If Tyrell Briggs quit when he suffered collar bone against Jeff Sims it would have been a loss, no question. But he fought one handled the rest of the fight and got a victory. A loss is a loss and a tko is a tko whether it's corner retirement or taking too many punches.

Even if it's your favorite fighter, it's something you have to accept.

Explain Vitali winning 12 of 15 rds from both fighters? If they're better than him where's there boxing skills? Why did they have to rely on Vitali being injured to win there fights against him? Were they NOT good enough to outbox him for more than 20% of the fight? Afterall.. these are the 2 best fighters he ever fought..surely these are both future hall of famers but could NOT manage to win more than 2 rds against him EVEN when he was AILING during large portions..ii'd say close to half the 15 rds he fought with impairment..

I ask why couldn't these fighters take advantage in the ring when it counted? Why did they have to rely on a dr's recommendation both times to get there w?
