Why is it the majority of times someone loses their trainers get blamed? It wasn't Berto's trainer that lost that fight for him. He gave him good advice, he just didn't follow through sometimes.Comment

Manny steward.......................
Berto would be a star with him. Not many people are ever going to hit him like ortiz and even then he wasn't stopped. Working off the jab with a no nonsense trainer would do him wonders.
Though none of that matters if Berto's BROTHER stay's in his corner. "YOUR AN ASSASSIN" "DO WHAT YOU DO".............Please shut the f up and let the PROFFESIONAL trainer do his job.Comment

Now he needs a new trainer like every other fighter that loses for the first time. Stop passing blame on other people and man the **** up!!! Besides, his trainer gave him poretty good advice. Berto just thought he would run thru Ortiz and was shocked when he got clocked in the first rd and he lost confidence when Ortiz took his best punch and ended up dropping Andre before the rd ended. He knew the only eay to win was by landing a huge bomb. He couldn't fight Ortiz for 3 full minutes of each rd. He would have passed out. Lol he was stumbling over himself. Dude looked gassed and needed to lean on the ropes to help him stay up and not expand more energy.Comment

I've always thought Berto looked top heavy, he needs to focus on conditioning his legs, as Khan showed v Maidana, if you have a bad chin but strong legs, you can recover from adversity. If Berto had had the strength in his legs to recover from the first round he would have stood a much better chance, you can't always blame the trainer.
Saying that, he does need to consider whether he has the right people around him, as well as work on his defense and footwork, conditioning his lgs better has to be the priority as far as I'm concerned though, dude has chicken legs.Comment
