    Why this "Mike Jones" hype?

I honestly didn't even know who this guy was so naturally I googled then box rec'd him and found he had a straight undefeated winning record which is cool and all but there isn't a single name on his record that makes me go "Ohhh, he beat him"?

Sure, he seems to be a pretty decent boxer as of yet but he has done absolutely nothing at an elite level. Nothing.

Kind of ridiculous to throw this guy in the mix when he has no record to back it up. What is this nonsense?

people hate victor, so they'll pin anyone against him. especially someone who can't be matched up with him due to their promotion companies feuding. others actually believe he is that good though, so idk, it's a mix of both i guess. either way, it seems like it'd be a good fight to watch (and shut one side or the other up)

He is young and coming up,he(unlike other fighters)is a prospect who should be making the leap to better opposition(I say like in a fight or two)very soon..I like Jones for his height and style not to mention he has power,he also shows balls..I believe he is going to be a problem very soon for a lot of WW..But it is to soon to tell imo,but we will find out soon enough if he has the goods are not..

Actually, for me, i just happened to be reading one of the posts here , and someone had mentioned M. Jones. And that lit up a bulb in my head.

It just so happens that I watched Jones live just a few months ago, and before that, I saw him on the undercard of PAC-Margarita.

I like his size and boxing ability when matched up with what Ortiz brings to the table. This doesn't mean, I don't think Ortiz can't beat him. Ortiz definitely has a shot at beating Jones, and wouldn't be surprised if he pulls it off. However, I'd have to favor Jones, based on what I saw in his last outing, which i got to witness up close.

He could end up being a great boxer, who knows but after guys like Jeff lacy you would think people would wait for a victory that actually turns heads before they start hyping someone up. Just my opinion.

I dunno where this ***** is coming from... I mean jones could conceivably make it a close fight with ortiz, but to say jones outright beats ortiz is dumb as ****
