^ I disagree, a top elite boxer always has a punchers chance in MMA.

Toney is a 5'9 160 pound boxer that ate himself to heavyweight. He has no power and is in his 40s. Easy match for the elite wrestler couture.

            we disagree

its not gonna be resolved any more than it already has been so why bother fighting over it

            http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...2711&cat=boxer

            heres the guy diaz beat

he did it in his debut and it aint to impressive but is miles ahead of most of the psuedo boxers lined up for mma guys

seriously i have had wars with mma tards who think their man fought in boxing only to find out the guy he fought was some bum who was debuting or had a ****in 0-18 record or something

            the moral...always do your research

he also beat kj noons in a stand up mma fight and got tooled in one as well

            http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hum...9486&cat=boxer

            kj noons boxing record

wow, seems like nick diaz and omar henry are switching sports then. cause theres rumors saying henry is leaving boxing to pursue an mma career. don't know if it's permanent, but it's because TR put him on the shelf for a year.

According to reports, undefeated jr. middleweight Omar Henry (10-0, 8 KO's) has decided to test the waters in mixed martial arts. Henry, who was

ps one thing i will give nick diaz is his stamina is ridiculous

the dude does triathalones for fun

his boxing is pretty good for mma , but he is too old to make the switch and would get tooled by pretty much anyone half decent imo

most of sherdog thinks vargas would put him in a coffin so i really dont think this is about mma fans disrespecting the sport

                  but whatever

he would have had a chance if he started young and he has a good chin , but he is no where near young enough to switch up and probably tried his hand at boxing but wasnt good enough

otherwise why fight mma where he gets paid less

he got 125 thou for a title defence

this is why he is hyping for money

he cant make a move until his training partner fights gsp as they are the same weight class and he wont fight him

as for nick diaz shooting his mouth off, this is a guy who when asked if his weed smoking gets in the way of his mma career , replied, ''no, my mma career gets in the way of my weed smoking''

he is a barrel of soundbites

                  good luck to him

they threw him in at the deep end instead of giving him someone that would at least stand and **** and its all just bull****

any boxer beats any mma guy at boxing

any mma guy beats any boxer at all in

                    thats pretty much the consensus

                    on both sides

                    get over it
LOL I think someone needs a nap.

My point is that Toney wasn't being humble and giving it a proper go.

Diaz seems to be doing this in a professional and realistic manner, where as Toney was in it for a pay day.

Dude, Im a Diaz fan but the quality that he is beating in stand up in MMA is so far from Boxing. Even Vargas and Mayorga will **** his ass up in Boxing.
