well he was lost after round 6. he had no answer to ortiz pressure and the same thing will happen when he faces another young and hungry kid, but much respect to him he fought his heart out. -
i dont care if you call him a hypejob...more like major disappointment
he has one thing going, his right hand. He has no jab, no defense, nothing much else going on in his game.
To me, that is sad as far as American boxing is concerned. I expected more, but got someone who is far from world-class in ability. He got strung along by HBO and was paraded as a champ. He got exposed tonight for his lack of ability.
Now please go away and learn how to box, Berto.
All the credit in the world to Ortiz, who Manny thinks has more power than him. That's high praise.Comment

Berto thought he was on top of the world before this fight making millions every time out. He had not faced top talent as opposition and struggled terribly against Collazo when he did face a B level fighter. He ran his mouth too much for a guy that hadn't proven too much up until now. I personally thought he was overhyped in comparison to what he had presented in the ring and felt it would only be a matter of time until he was put to the test and that he would fall apart when pressed.Comment
