Ortiz Fought Like A Young Pacquiao

His movement and flurries lastnight reminded me of a young upcoming Pacquiao.

When he stepped up to Barrera in that first fight, he was only supposed to be a tune-up fight for Barrera. Nobody gave him a chance.

He just kept bumrushing Barrera with that 1-2. Right Left straight. Left straight from across the ring. Over and over and over.

Ortiz's raw aggression, unrefined explosiveness and power reminded me of a young Pacquiao. He has all the tools to be great.

both fast southpaws with 1 shot KO power.

Both were not given much of a shot. Ortiz has always been dubbed as a quitter and Pacquiao had those KO losses at lower weights.

they exploded all over their opponent with more raw aggression where their techniques were lacking. athleticism over skill at this point. but great to see.

Ortiz is a better boxer then Pac... Not saying he's better, but purely boxing he is.

Are we going to get Ortiz over-hype now?

I know he is but he didn't box last night. did he? how many jabs? did he take one step backward?

            he didn't box maidana either.

Ortiz is a more refined boxer at the respective stages of their careers but he is a swarmer at heart. period.

                No he didn't.

Their styles couldn't be more different.

                Horrible thread.

He fought like a more aggressive version of himself.

                That's it.

LMAO, I didn't see any great display of boxing last night. The diff was that one guy took the shots better and that man ended up winnin'.

i dont think so buddy. pacquiao ever since kept throwing punches and bunches and he's very aggressive. he would be throwing 10 combos and what not.
