FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR: "IT HAPPENED JUST LIKE I SAID IT WOULD"
By Bert Crudup | April 17, 2011
"Like I said who ever is going to get big first will fold; This kids men they don't got heart." Stated Mayweather Sr., and listen to what else he's got to say about last night's fight.
BC: How are you doing today Big Floyd? I called you right away because what happened last night was just like what you said.
FM: It happened just like I said it would men! It was good for the first half and then it wasn't too nice after that. This kids men don't got heart. The guy who got hit good folded. He don't want to be there period. He got hit on the first round and after that you didn't see him perform anymore.
BC: I guess you're right but both guys went down the canvass don't you think that's enough to consider that they got the will to continue?
FM: You don't see it from my point of view. Listen here man, and let me explain it to you. When Berto got hit did you see him perform? Hello no! His corner was trying to give him all this talk and trying to bring him back to his senses and he got the look like he don't want to be there. The other guy went down but the guy already got his confidence in him. What round was it that Ortiz got hit big and went down, was it the 6th round? The look on his face changed and it's almost like he wanted to give up too but he got it all back when he was able to put Berto down before the round ended. But let me tell you this if he didn't got to put Berto down, he could have given up too. Man this mother****er Berto to me he quit in a way that he was still there in the ring but all that boxing and fighting bull**** wasn't there. He kept looking at the clock and his corner like "y'all gotta stop the fight." But yeah, after the last time he went down that was it.
BC: Well said, Andre Berto did look like he don't want to be there.
FM: Exactly! This guys don't fight hard anymore. They are not built like it should be. To me it's more of what upbringing they were in. They probably ain't that poor to work that hard. I guess that they have a good life already before they got in this sport so they just go in it to get some fame. This **** ain't easy you know.
BC: By the way Big Floyd you're son was ringside watching the fight and it looks like he was having fun. Was he there to observe that the winner would be a next opponent?
FM: I don't think so this mother****ers ain't on his level. That fight looked amateurish man. My son would done whoop them mother****ers and make them not box anymore. He don't need those guys!
BC: Ok (Laughs)! The crowd was not giving your son some love though, and they were chanting you know who.
FM: **** that ****! Them crowd ain't mean nothing. Tell them Pacquiao is gonna get whooped. The only way he winning is because of you know what.
BC: I wont be bothering you much anymore. It was a pleasure to talk to you again.
FM: No problem.
