    Wonderful

    The fight more than delivered

It was a brutal classic that I hope enables both Ortiz and Berto to take their Careers towards new heights.

gotta give it to Ortiz, when he got hit by that shot in the 6th and got up drooling, the whole world thought it was over, he recovered and Berto got careless, you know its a great match when there are so many momentum swings and boxers trade knock downs. my boy lost the match but he gained a lot from that fight, Glad to see Ortiz is back to being a monster, That should be mannys next opponent

What was Berto suppose to do, Ortiz would rush in land two and lay on him, Not like Berto was reaching out and grabbing him, Even when Berto was on the ropes he didn't try and hold. There is gonna be some holding on the inside, both fighters were holding.

Ref Mike Ortega imposed himself too much in this fight.
Good refs are those you don't seem notice in a fight...

Berto just got exposed as an overrated much hyped under skilled fighter. Great for Ortiz to expose the glass faced Berto. Berto got an ass whipping and an undressing on HBO for all to see. My guess he never recovers from the embarrassment.

I thought Berto was going to KO Ortiz, how wrong I was. From the introduction to the stare down, you could see that Ortiz was the more focused fighter. Berto at one point almost looked intimidated. Ortiz looked huge compared to Berto in the ring. Andre couldn't handle his power, and once Victor started throwing to the body, I knew it was over. Berto looked weak from the opening bell.Maybe Andre can bounce back from that beating, but I don't know.He needs a new trainer. He never attacked the body, never used his foot speed, and never threw combinations. What's the point of having speed if you're not going to use it? Great fight for Ortiz. They can do a movie about this kid's life.He has had a hard life and has overcome it.I'm looking forward to his next fight. I just hope he doesn't lose his edge.

That ref did a horrible job, he was giving Berto every break/opportunity in the world to compose himself. Berto would hug and hold for dear life whenever Ortiz got in close, and he would bend at the waste and turn away, then complain about being hit in the back of the head.

I agree, the ref should at least give the fighters a chance to "punch and get out" he didn't. Ortiz was getting the better or Berto on the inside.

Berto was also turning his head and Ortiz was hitting him there, your never supposed to turn your back or head and the ref should at least let him know about it.
