Typical excuses but before Lopez was supposed to KO Salido with no problem. He even said it himself. I think Arum is on clean up duty.

NY123 - since you are new to boxing, I'll enlighten you. When a fighter is battered and KO'd like JuanMa was, they get knocked out earlier in the rematch. You would know this if you werent born yesterday. The damage to JuanMa over the last few fights is already done! This time the information is free....next time I charge you.

I have to disagree my friend, although no disrespect just giving my opinion. Juan Ma has a questionable chin we all know that. Salido now has the confidence knowing he's able to knock Juan Ma out, he won't respect his power in the rematch- Just like Segura didn't respect Calderon. Not talking out of my ass just stating the facts. You can say all you want about a gameplan, however we all know Juan Ma will resort to slugging in the end and that will be his downfall. Some people just have other's numbers and I believe Salido has Juan Ma's number. I do believe that Juan Ma needs to go up. I think he is having problems making weight. Finally, No outcome is certain if it was I would be a millionaire, but I can't see Juan Ma executing anything different to win the rematch.

Ok fair enough i can respect your opinion and you may be right about the outcome of the rematch. I just dont see the comparison to Segura vs Calderon as applicable to this fight. I think if Juanma was to come in with a better gameplan by working the body and avoiding exchanges this fight has the potential to end differently.

I respect your opinion too bro Juan Ma may do something different in the rematch I just don't think he'll execute it. My comparison is that Salido will not respect Juan Ma's power he will walk him down ( like Segura did to Calderon ). Like said in the last post preparing a gameplan and executing it are two totally different things. I just think Juan Ma will always resort to brawling and that is his ultimate downfall. That and his defense. But like I said I think he should move up in weight. It seems many in the boxing community are saying he's having weight issues.

On an unrelated note I was at the Ortiz vs Berto fight last night. What a great fight !! Luis Collazo was in the crowd and mingling with fans. I got up and yelled out to him " Collazo, you beat Berto, I remember I saw it, you beat Berto " He looked at me, pointed and smiled. Whole crowd around me was cracking up.

Shane Mosley was going through a divorce and the media breathing down his neck about his steroid issues, coming in to his TKO9 win against Margarito.

I think what really hurt JuanMa in this fight were those big right hand bombs that Salido was landing on him. Let's face it, JuanMa's always been opened to right hands, he's not really good defensively.

I dont think Salido can completely disregard Juanmas power like Segura did with Calderon and if he does he will end up getting tagged himself. The fight wasnt a blowout and was on even terms until Juanma got stunned badly lets not forget that now because of the ending.
