I don't really like Lopez myself, but I've been saying for a while that he's really just not that good. His left hand is soo awkward. He's not a sharp puncher...he's heavy handed, but he's not sharp and precise.
He has no defense and has an even worse mentality. Talk about letting power get into your head...the guy CANNOT stay out of brawls, he makes Cotto look intelligent in the ring. And he's not THAT big of a puncher at 126.
This is not a result of this fight...I've been saying this for a while. He may as well not have a jab....the ony positive from the fight is that this guy certainly has a set of balls on him. And ith the amount of big punches he ate, I think this fight showed he has a good chin. He was getting TAGGED from round 1 on. People act like he was dominating....at no point was he dominating, every round was close til Salido took over.
We just have to face the fact that Juanma never was all that good...and people thought he was going to be better than Cotto...........HA. And on top of that he's a total diva.
