The same way Berto was supposed to take the youngn out? But Ortiz vs Khan does sound rather entertaining. I got Víctor by vicious beatdown.

face it at this point Cotto will be a stepping stone to either Berto or Ortiz

why do you think he opponents are being handpicked post Pacquiao and Clottey

            Dude, come on.

Freddie Hernandez is a stepping stone. Vivian Harris is a stepping stone. Cotto is a career defining fight.

It would be a good fight but I think Cotto's jab would give him some serious trouble.

Unless the move back down to Welter hurts Cotto I think he beats Ortiz, give Victor 2-3 more fights at Welter and he might beat him.

Cotto throws more punch per round and Otiz doesnt have a pure pressue frighting style. He would have to overwork Cotto I dont see that happening. Cotto jab and body work would fold him

ortiz has all the tools to beat him. cotto is a bit older now, i think his best days/performances are past him. ortiz isn't exactly a solid fighter, so idk how cotto's body shots would impact ortiz. plus, we've never seen ortiz at 154, but it'd be a great match to see...
