    Berto's corner was amateur hour.

I've always thought he had a weak corner since he has a non existent inside game but tonight it was a train wreck. He had his trainer trying to talk, his ******ed brother who's an MMA fighter trying to give instructions and his ex pro wrestler dad just outside the ring screaming crap.

Berto needs to start being more professional when it comes to these very important subtle things.

This is true, but believe it or not I think Berto took the right approach in tryin' to lay a trap as oppose to going to work (Which is what his corner wanted). Every time Berto went to work Ortiz got the better of the exchanges.

His inside game has always ******, he needs to fix that. Also, Berto needs to work on his left hook.

Good observation Soy. Berto needs an inside game badly and also needs to strengthen those very weak legs

It hasn't improved because he spends more time in the club and flying around the country going to concerts then in the gym refining his skills. I was actually a fan of Berto until I started following him in twitter.

It's not all his fault though, Haymon and HBO have been huge enablers since they haven't gave him the hard fights where he has to evolve or become extinct.

They were more cheerleaders than coaches. I hate when I hear corners give nothing but moral support, and "keep jabbing, its beautfil"

Thats all Berto's fault though. He had this ****y attitude and depended on that straight right in every fight. When it didn't work he didn't know wtf to do.

I did notice they really didn't give him intructions, only told him to go out and box. Well no shit, but give him an idea how.
