4 elite fighters that all impressed in 2010 have fallen apart in 2011: Montiel, a clear candidate for the fighter of the 2010-gets destroyed with one punch in 2 rounds by Donaire; Berto, perhaps not a candidate for FOTY but still impressive in his last outing in 2010-beaten up and outclassed by Ortiz. Juanma Lopez, who looked a BEAST not just in 2010 but virtually entire his career-gets stopped by ORLANDO SALIDO! And last but not least, David Lemieux, who koed Camacho jr and seemed like the next great thing in the mw division-gets stopped by MARCO ANTONIO RUBIO!

What does all this tell us? Are they not training hard enough or did they all take their opponents lightly?

James Kirkland is an honourable mention to that list. Knocking out most of his opponents, then losing to a feather fisted Ishida.

I sure wouldn't mind! Considering Kirkland, it WAS an upset, but considering he has been in jail for a year and it was his third fight in 2 months or something like that...an upset but not a shock upset.
