There were still 6 rounds left in the fight, ok i'm not saying khan would have lost but he did look horrible in there last night, who know's later in the fight it could have swung direction. IMO the fight should never have been stopped.... bad decision by the ref.

hopkins vs pascal was also a voluntary defence yet the rematch has been ordered so lets hope paul mcCloskey gets a fair crack at the whip.

McCloskey clearly lost every round. Realistically, who is going to want to watch a rematch of a fight that wasn't competitive for as long as it lasted?

Khan earned the fight with Bradley with his performance and victory v Marcos Maidana. This fight was a keep-busy fight which lasted 6 rounds and which Khan won clearly.

As I said, the stoppage was b/s and McCloskey might well have improved if the fight continued but that doesn't change the fact he didn't put forward a genuine case for a rematch while the fight was on.

It's tough on McCloskey, but that's life.

Incase you didn't realise he had a cut, from then on, it would have turned ugly for Mckosly.
