Arum got what was coming to him for not making the best fights possible. Now hopefully we'll see his other cash cow knocked off in a couple of weeks.

I always tought that Juanma was over rated and I'm a boricua. I just never saw anyhting special in him he has average punching power, speed is weak, throws his punches to wide and no defense. And when he gets hit with a good shot you can see that he gets hurt right of away. I would like to see gamboa vs salido the rematch.
There are some young talented boxers coming out of PR that will mke better champions in the future.

This is not a fight between mexico and PR, this is about professional boxers fighting and risking there life's. Both country's have great boxers you win some and you lose some. STOP the racist comments between each other and talk boxing not race.

i always called juanma the "edwin valero" of puerto rico because i see nothing special in him as a fighter...he lunged his punch and left himself wide open...for a counterpuncher like donaire, juanma will not last a single round...he barely survived with agbeko, goes down with a smaller bernabe concepcion...and now, salido finally exposed him...

juanma is a pretender to the thrown. im not surprised why bob arum did not matched him with gamboa because arum knows juanma absolutely has no chance against gamboa.

but salido will not stay long being a champion...you guys knew what i mean..

I said it when the fight was first announced, "another test for Lopez"...some dumb ****s in the posts thought otherwise.....So Bob? are you still going to holdout in making Lopez/Gamboa or are you going to wait a bit longer to make more money?....Go **** yourself you greedy old bastard!

Props to Juan Ma he was a good champ. This is definitely not the last we have seen of Juan Ma, but he has a lot of changes to make to his fighting style- he gets hit too much. Good Job Salido you made us proud !!! Mexico dominado el boxeo !!!!! Arribba Mexico !!! Mexico # 1 in boxing !!!!!!!

JuanMa was there ,just coundn't get off cause Salido wasn't just standing in front of him and wasn't a small fighter just like the rest.
In other words Juanma was over rated dude deal with it.

I thought Salido was going to finish him just looking at Lopez legs all night, the stoppage was a bit premature, but it was over 90% likely that the inevitable win was going to Salido. There are fights like Castillo-Corrales and DLH-Quartey where the guy was taking worse beatings but the ref didn't stop it, also Lopez was firing back when it was stopped.

Salido and his trainer Hall of Famer Daniel Zaragoza were able to take away the comibinations away by giving Lopez different angles and scoring with the overhand right on the inside. It was still an exciting fight.

Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. pretty much called out Lopez mediocore team in the past and now he sounded like a prophet. Salido will take Rafael Marquez next for a good payday than give Lopez the rematch.

People trashed Salido after testing positive for PED after the Guerrero fight but he has now redemed himself, hats off in stopping Lopez 11-0 streak against his countrymen.
