That KD in the 5th was nasty. That was the punch that pretty much ended the fight for JMM. He legs were shot to **** after that punch landed. The stoppage was a bit premature, JMM was still punching back when the ref stopped the fight. Although Salido most likely would have gotten JMM outta there anyway, I think the ref should have picked a better spot to stop the fight.

Thank you he looked tired before the fight son had bags under his eyes,people are saying the divorce had nothing to do with it,break up with someone you love and say the same he has 5 kids with her,i had none with my ex and i was in shambles for months until my love of my life showed up.

regardless of the stoppage i knew this was going to happen. i wish i could laugh in bob arums face. he ruined the juanma vs gamboa fight starting 2 years ago. now he has to build it up all over again.watch arum try to make the fight now if he can't secure a salido rematch.

salido certainly didnt come out to the ring looking as a world beater
also about the stoppage a highlight reel ko was on its way the ref was rican and he knew it that's why he stopped it

But that was a TERRIBLE stoppage.

Not really. It was a wee bit early but Lopez was getting his ass beat from the fourth round forward and his legs had been lifeless for a while. He's got tremendous guts and is just the sort of guy who needs to be saved from himself on occasion. That was turning into the sort of high volume connection beating that leaves guys in comas or worse. Lopez wasn't coming back. I can live without seeing Ramirez count to 10.
